iPhone 3.0.1

If you have an iPhone and have OS version 3.0 you need to sync your phone today to get new version 3.0.1. This release addresses the much publicized SMS exploit. Read more about this issue here. This is an instance where an update WILL help and is needed to correct a pretty serious security risk. This does not just effect the iPhone either. Microsoft based and Android based mobile phones have the same issue because they use a similar method in handling SMS messages. I appreciated the story on the update to the OS version 3.0 for the iPhone. I wasn’t aware of the security risk but by taking the time to read your e-newsletter can now easily correct a potential disaster.
