As the newest member of the BestMacs team, my role is simply customer service and organization. It is my goal to keep you, the client, happy and the team on task. However, you should know that I am not what one would call “tech savvy”! In fact, I will be chronicling my adventures as I learn and grow in the Mac world. Follow my articles Observations from the Technically Challenged here at BestMacs.com.
When I am not with a customer, I am rocking baby, coloring with big sis, or playing outside. Yes, I am blessed enough to work from home… and often on the go! I am the proud mama of two little girls, May (4months) and Greta (5years), but I like to say I have five kids including my husband, Clint, and two dogs!
Anyway, if you need anything, please email me at jamie@bestmacs.com. I am always available to help, though not always at the computer, so if it is urgent, please call 1-866-BESTMAC. Please, please leave a message, if I miss your call… I am often only changing a diaper or on the other line, and I will call you back right away!
Macs outperform economic trends
I’m not an economist or anything, but my first six weeks with BestMacs has brought about a revealing observation… There is no recession in Apple’s world! Yes, you heard me right. I have observed people buying iPads, iPhones, and Mac computers/ servers galore, and after a little research, I found confirmation that my observations were more than just hallucinations. Apple is indeed growing, even in these tough economic times.
In reference to the last quarter of 2009, Steve Jobs, Apple’s CEO, said “We are thrilled to have sold more Macs and iPhones than in any previous quarter.” And Peter Oppenheimer, Apple’s CFO, said “For the full year (2009), we grew revenue by 12 percent and net income by 18 percent in extraordinarily challenging times.”
What does this mean for you as the proud owner of an Apple product? Well I should think it is pretty obvious… You are with the right company! A company out to deliver quality products to discerning consumers. I’ll delve into my ever evolving thoughts on Apple more in the coming weeks… until then.
