General Services
Services include consultation, training, installation, and repair. General non-contract, ala carte services are billed at $129/hour with a one-hour minimum. Outside a 40-mile radius of Lawrence, billing starts when we leave the office to head your way (essentially one-way travel).

Retainer Plans
Clients who plan to do business with BestMacs regularly can save money and receive preferential treatment by buying service time in advance. Clients who purchase four hours in advance receive a discounted rate of $90 per hour.  Ten hours or more will receive a discounted rate of $75 per hour.

These retainers are not monthly or yearly contracts: the time is yours until it’s used up.  A retainer takes the unforeseen expense of a repair and makes it a budgeted expense.  In exchange for your retainer, you’ll have the bene?t of preferred scheduling over non-retainer clients, phone and remote support options (see below), and highly discounted rates.

Phone/Remote Support
Consultation and support given over the phone will be charged to a credit card or an existing BestMacs retainer account at your typical hourly rate, in 15 minute increments with a minimum of 15 minutes.

In addition to our on-site service, retainer clients have the option of remote support by the innovative MacHelpMate program. MHM allows for secure, on-demand remote desktop help, even through corporate ?rewalls. With your permission, BestMacs can solve many software issues without even being there. This means your issues get resolved faster and at a lower cost.

Priority Contracts
If you desire to outsource your Mac IT support or plan to use BestMacs services heavily, you require immediate availability, and don’t want to worry about billable hours, you want a Priority Contract. Clients with a Priority Contract use BestMacs as their IT department, are not charged any emergency rates, and are the only clients who are guaranteed a same-day response time.
