bSafe Website Blocking

As part of our bSafe™ cybersecurity solution, we are providing our clients with a new network protection service. It keeps you safe wherever you use your Mac, including working-from-home (which as everyone knows is especially important now.) If a malicious email or message tries to send you to a malicious website – even if you accidentally clicked on it – our service will recognize it from a globally sourced list and block it before it reaches the attacker.

Below is an example of what you’d see when trying to access an insecure website.

If you believe the website in question has been blocked in error, just click the “Report an incorrect block” link and you’ll be asked for your name, email, and a brief message explaining your issue. BestMacs will receive your request and either whitelist the site or reach out with any further questions.

If you have any questions about this new service, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

BestMacs clients on the “Best Practices” all-inclusive plan will receive this service at no additional charge. Others can receive this service for free for a limited time as part of our response to COVID-19.
